I consider myself truly fortunate on attending this conference, as it has awakened a lot within. Listening to Nataniel yesterday on what he has to say to the Church and what is expected from the church. This is not supposed to be my journey alone, but also your journey as reader of this.

I have injured my knee. This has been a long process. Last spring I had the feeling I was going to fall down the stairs at work. My knee felt like it was swelling up and unable to move completely. I decided it was time to go to the doctor when I continued to imagine myself losing my balance and taking out any student who happened to be moving from one class to another. I am an easy-going, light-hearted person. It takes a great deal to throw me .

It does come upon us quite often that we have 3 swimmers, and 1 non swimmer. And we celebrate our non swimmer who is so accomplished in many other things. Beyond anything the other kids can do. does it feel different? I know the answer to this. Of course it feels different, because it is. And although it has its own stigma and recognition, its still not the same as the others. And that is a big deal, especially for this kid. Good grief, yet another parent fail.
